Drinking Water Sources and Treatment — shows where drinking water (residential and commercial, rural and urban) comes from and how it is delivered to us;

Wastewater Treatment — shows what happens to water and waste after we use it (how sewage/wastewater is treated)

What biosolids are and how they are being used or disposed.

EnviroScape® Drinking Water & Wastewater Treatment consists of a colored landscape map that sits on a clear base with color-coded channels, or “pipes”, that run under removable road sections.

Students can trace the path of water we use in our communities …

from the river to the water treatment plant

from the treatment plant to houses and “city” buildings

from use in the houses and city to the wastewater treatment plant and

from wastewater treatment back into the river

Also includes:

Septic system and rural water sources

Stormwater discharged directly to a waterbody OR sent on to the wastewater treatment plant; and

Demonstration of a combined sewer overflow

The Drinking Water & Wastewater unit contains everything you need (but the water!). Drinking Water & Wastewater landscape top (topographical map), clear base, Groundwater well containers, road sets, city buildings, factory, water tower, drinking water treatment plant cover, wastewater treatment plant cover, hospital/business building, school/mall, incinerator building, farmhouse, houses, Houses, bridge, truck, tractor, liner for lagoon, wells, wetlands, buffer strips, septic field, filters for drinking water plant, screens for wastewater treatment plant, chlorine bottle, dechlorination bottle, oil bottle, sewage/waste mixture, sewage assist, coagulants, dry biosolids, digester, rubber stopper, clay, 10 trees, watercatcher, and User's Guide.

As with all EnviroScape® models, it uses easily replenished kitchen supplies such as cocoa powder, pudding mix, rice, oatmeal, and other fun ingredients!

Each unit is shipped in a sturdy foam padded shipping box. You have the option of purchasing the New & Improved DELUXE Carrying Case on Wheels or the black nylon Tote/Shoulder Bag for ease in transporting the unit, but they are not required.

NEW! Improved Carrying Case! We've taken the best from the Heavy-Duty Carrying case and made it better! Now called the Nylon Carrying Case w/Wheels, the new case is made from a strong nylon material with reinforced sides, padded protection, wheels, a retractable handle and an additional side handle. It's much easier to transport, remove and replace the EnviroScape model, and much lighter to lift. Warm brown in color, the new improved Nylon Carrying Case replaces the original case.

TOTE/SHOULDER BAG: No more zippers — place your EnviroScape model(s) in the bag & go! Plus, it's big enough for the foam padded box. The tote bag replaces our nylon shoulder bag, and is 33.5" x 28" x 10", made from strong black polyester, with adjustable handles and inside pockets.
